Gombe NUT Joins Nationwide Protest, Government Reaffirms School Safety

The Nigerian Union of Teachers (NUT), Gombe State Wing, joined a nationwide protest demanding the rescue of abducted teachers and students in Borno and Ibadan States. The union called on government and security agencies to intensify efforts to secure the victims’ release and prevent future attacks on schools. Receiving the protesters on behalf of Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, the Chief of Staff, Hon. Abubakar Inuwa Kari, assured that schools in Gombe remain safe and that the state government will continue working with security agencies to protect learners and teachers.
