Gombe residents have applauded the government’s erosion control projects for reducing flooding, improving security, and reconnecting communities, while residents of Bagadaza called for urgent intervention on the Bagadaza–Hammadukafi erosion site.

Gombe residents have commended the government’s erosion control projects, saying the construction of waterways and bridges has reduced flooding, improved security, and restored access to communities. Sani Muhammed Abdullahi appreciated the government for bringing relief during the rainy season. Usman Mohammed recalled losing property to erosion and praised the intervention. Maikudi Waziri said the project improved security and movement within the community, while Rebeca Ezra appealed for government intervention on the Bagadaza–Hammadukafi erosion site.
