Hon. Inuwa Garba says the newly flagged-off Gombe–Biu road project will improve living standards and boost economic activities across the North-East, particularly in Yamaltu/Deba Federal Constituency. The lawmaker explained that the over ₦1.2 billion project is designed as a six-lane dual carriageway with streetlights, a flyover from the Gombe Northern Bypass, and grazing water points every 10 kilometres. He said the road will enhance transportation, create business opportunities, and attract investment to communities along the corridor. Garba also commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya for supporting the project. On the Kolmani oil drilling project, he reaffirmed his commitment to pursuing its resumption, noting that he will continue engaging relevant authorities to ensure work resumes. He expressed optimism that ongoing infrastructure projects across the region will transform transportation and accelerate economic development in the North-East.
