Gombe Celebrates Hawan Gidan Gomnati with Colourful Dabur Festival

The Emir of Gombe, Dr. Abubakar Shehu Abubakar III, led traditional title holders, horse riders, and members of the Gombe Emirate Council to Government House, Gombe, to pay Sallah homage to Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya during the 2026 Hawan Gidan Gomnati. The colourful Dabur Festival featured decorated horses, traditional regalia, and cultural displays that showcased the rich heritage of the Gombe Emirate. Participants highlighted the importance of preserving cultural values, strengthening community bonds, and promoting peaceful coexistence, while the event also served as a platform for celebrating faith, unity, and mutual respect among the people of Gombe State.
